Each piece is handcrafted by women in Uganda using local, high quality materials such as up cycled cow horn, hand-rolled beads, and natural raffia.

Akola is providing life-changing job opportunities through vertically integrated manufacturing in Uganda, employing women in extreme poverty to make every piece of jewelry. 

We believe in the tremendous power that a woman, specifically a mother, possesses and provides. Allow her to flourish and grow— and she’ll pass it on.
